PALESTINIAN CHILDRENโ€™S LIVES AT RISK

Living conditions in Gaza are critically endangering the lives of Palestinian children and newborns. The ongoing conflict, compounded by severe restrictions on aid and medical supplies, has led to a humanitarian catastrophe. Over 346,000 children under the age of five are at high risk of malnutrition, with many suffering from wasting, the most severe form of malnutrition. This condition, exacerbated by inadequate access to food, clean water, and healthcare, is causing widespread weight loss, immune system failures, and complications from illnesses like diarrheaโ€‹

โ€‹Hospitals are overwhelmed or non-functional due to attacks and supply shortages, making it nearly impossible to treat malnourished children effectively. Organizations like UNICEF and Save the Children are working to provide therapeutic foods and medical care, but the scale of the crisis demands unobstructed humanitarian access to prevent further loss of life
